I personally would rather let him sit through the bye to continue to let him strength his knee, let him slowly get back to full speed, and then let him go crazy. I’m not a doctor and definitely don’t know what he is capable of or not, but I’d like to see the conservative route here to ensure the best possible long term outcome. My fear is that there will be injuries in Germany due to the stadium conditions. Seen a lot of it already in London.
If he feels ready to give it a go, give him 10-20 snaps vs Pats.
If his body responds well the day+ after, full go vs Chiefs.
If his body tells him that was a bad idea, two full weeks of rest before Raiders. He should be a full-go from there on out.
