Probably the best thing about this game (besides that no-scope) was that it didn’t really look like Chet was doing anything that insane or playing way better than he has for the rest of the season. Like it wasn’t just some one off insane night.
His shot was definitely dropping, don’t get me wrong – 71% 2P% vs 58% for the season; partially due to being pretty wet from midrange and partially due to more looks around the basket; but “only” 40% from 3, slightly below his average, and not like he had some crazy amount of free throws or anything like that.
He just got way more shots than usual (22 vs ~10), and Warriors play small ball and he just abused the fuck out of them. Even if he had shot his average 58% for the 2P attempts it still would’ve been a 30-31 point night.
