So I recently purchased this sata to usb adapter and it doesn’t work. It’s a Blue Light on “Acces” but a Red Light on “Power” Does my laptop have to little power? (It’s a hdd from a playstation) But it should give me an option to format it if it worked, right?
Because mechanical disks require external power. Even USB 3 out of your laptop wouldn’t be able to provide enough. Try with an SSD
