I think I’m going solo to Kansas City for the first time to see the Chiefs and Bills play.

I plan on attending the game as well as seeing the Jayhawks that weekend in Lawrence.

My first question: Where should I stay (on a bit of a budget here)

Second question: Should I buy tickets in advance or wait it out on stub hub for ticket prices to drop before the game???

    Rent a car.

    Ticketmaster has lower prices and fewer fees even though they suck to no end. You should buy late at this point. If you see a good price starting the Monday before, snag it. If you’re going solo you might get some good deals.

    The KU Natural History Museum is cool and they have some incredible dinosaur fossils.

    • Gates for the BBQ beef and turkey
    • Jack Stack for the beans, ribs, burnt ends, chicken
    • Joe’s for the ribs and the Z-man
    • LC’s (not on game day) for the burnt ends
