My GF an I are currently in SE Asia. We’ve enjoyed a few cities like Chiang Mai, KL, Da Nang etc but definitely prefer the towns/countryside. Although cliche, Ubud was enjoyable and I found Rawai in Phuket was a nice mix of countryside and town.

Where else would you recommend in SE Asia that has that small town countryside feel?
