He loves gaming…so much that he’s asking for a lot of newer games, but enjoys the older ones that I’ve shown him and played with him. And he’s waaayyy outgrown his fire tablet…

Is there a mainline (like switch or DS for example) that’s easily obtainable and not too hard to mod? I’m tech savvy, just free time limited.

If there’s reccomended ones with just a modded cart, that’d be perfect, as I’d like it to function “normal” for the most part, without tons of tinkering/configuring.
