Are there any steps I can take to prevent this happening again? I’m running OpenSUSE TW.

I was playing Mass Effect Legendary Edition last night for a few hours and made a manual save after I’d finished as I always do. Booted up this morning and find my latest autosave is from midway through my session last night and manual save is from the day before.

After I finished playing last night I tried opening a different program only to be greeted with a message about some folder not being writeable. I just assumed it was a typical Linux bug and shut down my PC.

Any idea what caused this?
