i just installed a new radio and sub in my truck, but i don’t have a fuse for the power wire. the truck started fresh after installation so i could mess with some stuff before going to O’Reilleys to pick up a 20 AMP fuse. i shut the truck off to look over my wires to make sure everything was good, put the dash back together, and went to start the truck. i turned the key and heard a loud click. all power cut completely off. i go to google, and everybody else’s truck gets power after a short amount of time, but mine doesn’t. i think its a fuse, but i don’t know which fuse.
Update!!! I completely unplugged my amp and radio form the truck. J still get no power to the rest of the truck, battery reads roughly 12V, but I did find a hole in the positive side mount cable that could’ve caused a short. Is there anything that i need to replace if all the fuses in the fuse boxes are good?
