Idk if it’s just me, but Manuel is giving Ashley Yohan treatment. Everything was fine when she would go visit him, and (like Daniele and Yohan) they were fine the first few moments together. It wasn’t until he found out she was a practicing which (similar to Daniele) and that he seemingly had ulterior motives that he started acting different. Now he’s mean and acts indifferent toward Ashley, just like Yohan toward Daniele. I’ve just noticed similarities between Ashley and Daniele’s personalities and Yohan and Manuel’s.
Well the thing is that both Yohan and Manuel are lazy and don’t want to work, but want their significant others to fund whatever lifestyle they want to live. Also, Danielle decieved Yohan and promised to bring him to the US (apparently) and then changed her mind without telling him, which is why Yohan felt contempt towards her. She broke a promise.
AFAIK Ashley didn’t break any promises, and Manuel has been sour af since the second he got to the US.
I don’t think they’re that similar.
