u_koolman631 reported this first, but I thought it’s worth a full post. I also tried to add more details.
Nacua’s injury happened on the pass interference he drew (https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2023/11/20/rams-puka-nacua-injury-shoulder-seahawks-update/). The pass interference occurred in the fourth quarter with 8:09 left.
Nacua’s plays after the pass interference:
- - 6:43 Catch made, gain of 32 yards
- - 5:46 Incomplete pass intended for Nacua
- - 3:36 Catch made, gain of 11 yards
- - 2:00 Nacua rushed for 7 yards
- - 1:47 Incomplete pass intended for Nacua
The Rams didn’t have the ball after 1:34. So, I know anything is possible, but I thought this looked WAY better than initial news. He not only ended the game but was involved pretty heavily. I mean, if your WR1(b?) is hurt in a serious way, would you let him rush?
I obviously don’t know. He might be seriously hurt. However often we cope by saying “he came back in after the injury” though, even when players just run a route and I thought it’s interesting puka not only came back in, but had some great plays and was used quite a bit.
