I was wondering if there was an easy way to mass rename a batch a files. So for context, for the past 1-2 years I’ve been downloading songs on this ‘online mp4 to mp3 downloader’.

When the files get downloaded its usually renamed as “(website name)+(song name)”. And now i have around 200 files like this.

So right now its getting a bit annoying to search for songs as the whole list starts off with the website name.

I was wondering if there is a way to mass rename the files by removing the (website name) but retain the (song name) without having to do it one by one.

Any help would be good.

    Hey guys, thanks for all the support. Tbh i didn’t realize how fast i could solve this problem.

    Thanks to u/OkMany3232 for providing a link to a help page with many different solutions.

    The one i used to solve this problem is ‘Bulk Rename Utility’ as it is the most user friendly (for me at least) and now all the annoying website name other useless characters in the file name are all removed.

    I’ll be keeping this post up in case anyone else in the future have the same problem as me. Cheers ~
