The game was 7-7 when I started watching in the 2nd quarter.

KC’s O-Line combined with Mahomes’ scrambling was giving him plenty of time to work. But KC couldn’t catch a pass when they needed it.

Philly’s run game is dangerous with Swift and Hurts posing a threat. But if you can get pressure on Hurts, they look very beatable in the passing game.

Both defenses looked good, but KC looked better. But neither looked dominants. Although KC was able to get after Hurts and kept him somewhat contained.

I think the key for the Niners is going to be our Defense beating Philly on the line and containing the run game, and not giving Hurts time to get a passing attack going. And then avoiding 3rd and short and 4th and short. I like the Niners offense against Philly’s D.

As far as MNF, I think KC would have run away with the game if they would have caught some of those passes.

The interesting thing is, everyone criticized the Eagles all last season because they had a weak schedule. So, yes, they looked dominant last season. (Just like the Cowboys look dominant when they play the Panthers and Giants of the world.) This season they have a first-place schedule, so naturally the games are closer, and everyone says “They look worse than last season.” Of course they do, they are playing better teams!

They’re 15-1 in their last 16 games vs teams with winning records. Who cares how good they look? That team knows how to win.
