So Cartman swaps places with a black woman from an alternate Universe where everyone is a black woman, in reference to Disney etc “blackwashing” white characters in movie remakes.

But nothing seems to actually happen, just some crap about Kathleen someone and the fact Cartman is now a black woman for almost an hour which is somehow supposed to be funny in itself? The whole thing just seemed to be an excuse so we can see how the characters of SP would look like “if they were a black woman”.

The subplot about Randy and his oven door was way more entertaining and actually had a storyline to it.

The fact that the alt-universe characters act largely the same is the point.
It’s criticizing race / gender / sexuality swaps in media that impact literally nothing else about the established character. Meaning that it’s done for no reason, other than to pander.
They even bring up this point in contrast with Miles Morales from Spiderman, as he’s a completely different version of Spiderman than Peter Parker, with a different personality and backstory. And how that kind of execution is actually good.

But they also make fun of people sending hate mail and death threats to the companies / creators of these things, because that makes you an asshole and isn’t a constructive way to address your complaints.
