I fucking LOVE titanfall 2. The multiplayer is like call of duty except actually fun.
If anyone is interested in the game its a first person shooter featuring parkour mechanics and very high action gameplay combining on-foot gameplay using said parkour mechanics and a variety of weapons AND mech based combat using giant robots called “titans” (between which you can switch fluently by jumping into and out of your titan).
Its so fun to just toss a throwing knife at another player while they’re running around and watch them drop.
It has one of my favorite campaigns of all time. The story is that you are Jack Cooper, a rifleman working for the Frontier Militia, a resistance trying to fight back the oppressive IMC megacorporation thats trying to take over the frontier for its natural resources. Soon enough you get deployed to the planet typhon to interrupt IMC operations and find yourself given a titan and hastily promoted to a pilot, a parkouring gunslinging titan-riding badass of a soldier. You then gotta venture through the planet of typhon to reconnect with the frontier militia and find intel on what the IMC is planning in order to stop them.
