Yeah, that’s because Diggs was replaceable. For reference, he was like 17th in Yards and 26th in TDs…

Notable names ahead of him (yards) : Devante Parker, Kenny Golladay, Amari cooper, DJ Moore, Jarvis Landry, Allen Robinson, Darren Waller and Robert woods. Diggs never had a high end finish like JJ has done consistently.

Also look how long it took to get a guy even comparable with Randy Moss, cause that’s the level we are talking about,

You do know we targeted him as a WR 2 though, right? It’s why he was unhappy and wanted out? Because he was a top 10 receiver. Silly to look just at his stats while he was here.

If Diggs was a WR2 why are you even bringing him up? A WR2 is replaceable lol, and that’s how most felt during the time. 2020 was also a stacked WR draft class. Our current WR2 came from that draft class lol.

That’s like me saying Calvin Johnson isn’t replaceable and you saying “we said the same thing about Tee Huggins” like what

You’re legit something else if you don’t think targets effect a receivers stats lol. Do you know how many times we targeted JJ last year? 184 times.

Do you know how many times we targeted Diggs in 2019? 94 times.

          Yards for JJ? 1809

          Yards for Diggs? 1130

So Diggs literally had better yards per catch that JJ last year.

So my question is, how hard would it be to replace a 94 target WR in the NFL with 1.1k yards vs Justin Jefferson current form?

I’m asking you to tell me how hard it is to replace someone on historic pace vs Diggs, why are you comparing Vikings Diggs vs Current Justin Jefferson. Diggs peak is probably right now or 2020 which is comparable to Justin Jefferson SOPHMORE year.

So yes, Stefon Diggs was an asset that was easier to replace than Justin Jefferson so what you said isn’t comparable.

If we traded Justin Jefferson, and ended up with Stefon Diggs from the start of his career to now, did we successfully replace Justin Jefferson? You answer is probably no.
