If you look at on the field production Shaq leads in almost every statistic and holding any defensive player to a Super Bowl as a gatekeeper is a whole lot different than a qb. Very rarely in the last 20 years has a defense alone won a team a Super Bowl. Broncos and Ravens are the only teams I can think of in the 2000s that have.
