I’m using the iPhone with dark mode on. In the last day or so, I’ve noticed a bit of a change in the colours of WhatsApp. Got me thinking I accidentally messed with some accessibility settings, but nope, that’s not it. The send button is this bright green now, the icons stand out more, and the chat colors are a stronger green. Kind of caught me off guard.
Has WhatsApp had an interface update? The changelogs don’t mention it.
Looks like yes. I’ve noticed the same. In fact, hyperlinks etc. are also green - the only place blue color remains now is blue ticks (after message is read).
That green shade is bit tacky - should’ve been a bit subdued. And it looks much worse with dark mode.
