The vibes of this team are just different this year. Is it pretty? No. Is it perfect? Hell no. But this team grinds their ass off, no matter the adversity it faces.
Growing up with football (soccer), the german national team always had a certain myth, a certain aura and epos about them. They were not as technically gifted as other countries like brazil, argentina, spain or italy, they didnt have those magicians. But what they had was unbreakable determination, and they would win against this technically more gifted teams purely by outrunning, outmuscling and outwilling them. My idol was the goalkeeper Oliver Kahn who epitomizes this unbreakable spirit like nobody else. Hes famous for saying (translated) “keep going, keep going - ALWAYS keep going”.
So why did i go on this tangent? Because this team reminds me of just that. The Browns dont have that flashy superstar QB or that en vogue young OC, no. What they have is a bunch of people who are good at their job and willing to do whatever it takes to get the victory - and between us, i think there is some good teams but i doubt that every team really is willing to dig deep and get dirty in an ugly fight.
