Not sure if this warrants its own post, but I honestly completely forgot about this with all the 2nd round picks we’ve swapped around. It was one of the picks in the Conley trade.
Not exactly a 1st round pick, but pick 35 is generally considered better than pick 30 because of the optionality with the contract. If the season ended today, we’d have the 29th and 35th pick.
Genuinely a good asset it seems this year.

Just checked and it seems you are right. Two websites I monitor for draft content (nbadraft.net and nbadraftroom.com) do not acknowledge this. I think Memphis will play way better with Ja being back, but still, 40 ish pick is better than nothing.
