This isn’t to create any animosity - it’s simply a thought. I understand it’s early in the season but I am seeing how easy it is to scheme against Maxey and Embiid when walling off the paint in crunch-time. If you throw length at Maxey or force Embiid to put the ball on the deck (where it he is liable to get stripped) it tends to bother them. I say all this to say, outside of running the PnR against teams that don’t have the personnel to defend that play, it’s quite hard to run iso for either player sometimes as such, it’s possible the Sixers need to get a player that can deliver better in iso situations at the end of games.
