I just did my second oil change on my second car.

The car says it takes 4.6 quarts. The first oil change I just lazily poured the entire 5qt jug and I was a little bit over the dipstick fill line. I don’t drive very fast (I think I read if you fill too much and drive fast it will froth the oil and basically run air into where it shouldn’t be) so I lived with it for 6k miles.

This time I did the math (sort of). .4 quart is about 13 fl oz. So I filled most of a standard 16.9 fl oz water bottle with oil and then dumped the rest into the engine. Except now it’s way above the dipstick fill, more than the last oil change, iirc, although I didn’t take a picture to be sure. But I will add a picture of my dipstick now.

I used the exact same oil as I bought 2 of them when I was prepping my first oil change. I didn’t forget to dump and change the filter. I waited for every last drop to pour out before closing up underneath and filling. Any ideas on what I did wrong? Anything I can do to fix it? How much is too much oil? It’s a 2015 lexus es300h. It’s got 42k miles and I bought it with 31k I really hope I don’t break my baby :(
