I’ve recently started experiencing an issue where my internet seemingly drops despite continuing to be connected to WiFi, and weirdly, it not saying that I have no internet connection. All internet traffic in both browser and apps simply freezes until I switch to mobile data for 10 seconds and then switch back to wifi.
I’ve tried the usual forums and troubleshooting faqs but all I get is articles about dropping wifi altogether or useless things like “make sure you’re router is on”.

I’ve tried restarting and updating to no avail

This is happening on many different public and private wifi networks, so it’s not my router settings or anything. Other devices work fine on all of the networks I’ve tried.

Any clues would be very helpful.
