Hi all. Wanted to ask those of you that used the Steam Machine and/or Controller back in the nascent days of Valve hardware if you think the Steam Deck is better/easier to use. My outsider impression is it’s the best parts of the two devices, but I had a terrible time with the Steam Machine/Controller being difficult to use, especially as a primarily console gamer.

Still, I’m quite intrigued by the Steam Deck OLED, and while I know it won’t be the “plug and play” experience of a console, is it at least easier to use than the Steam Machine/Controller were? I have a backlog of Steam games I’m itching to play.
