    How can anyone not believe?

~500 quintillion solar systems in the universe and we’re the only planet with life? Come on now.

That’s exactly why I don’t believe lol. Before you downvote, heres the logic:

First off, when I talk about an “alien”, I don’t mean the traces of a microbe or something. And I’m not even talking about a walking, flying Martian. When I think of an alien, I’m looking for something that is at least as complex as an Earth Worm.

Statistics - In a given population, a large enough sample size from that population can be used to determine various statistics. For example, if you took 100,000 people from MA, you could come close to 99% sure whatever stat you’re looking when it comes to MA as a whole. This becomes even more accurate the more people you add to the sample.

Ok onto space - Voyager 1 has reached a distance of 23.381 billion km (14.528 billion miles). Voyager 2 has also eclipsed 20 billion miles in journey. In ALL of that travel, neither have come close to identifying any remote lifeform on par with that of an Earth Worm.

The farther they travel, the more likely we are alone in space as a miraculous planet.
