Ok so firstly hear me out. I’m 27, born and raised in the district and I love wizards basketball. This is just my opinion but I really cannot stand to watch Deni play basketball 😣… Maybe I wouldn’t have a problem with how bad he was if I didn’t get that feeling that Deni thinks he better than he actually is. Like has anyone seen improvement with his game? I was talking to a friend about Deni and he asked me what does he do? I couldn’t give an answer without being condescending. I just really don’t like his game, misses too many layups for my liking , still not consistent enough with the 3 ball. His defense to inconsistent… and honestly that part of his game is what I despise the most… added on top of that is his delusional fanbase, who likes to attack me on twitter whenever I speak the objective truth about Deni’s game/ performances. I was pissed when we gave him an extension 😭 I’ll be so happy when he’s gone. Am I tripping or do yall feel the same way?
A gentleman explained it to me perfectly, I didn’t mean to offend your MJ! I’ve just watched/played a ton a basketball in my life & he didn’t meet my standards of what I feel a lottery pick should be. I went on a rant which made me seem biased which I am not. But the gentleman who was aforementioned put it into perspective for me that that’s like the best player his fans have ever seen so and y’all go hard for Deni which I’m not mad at. I admire it now. Although he still doesn’t fit my standards as a 9th overall pick in the NBA draft. I may have been a little facetious when I said he hasn’t gotten better… maybe not to my standards but an improvement nonetheless.
