Like someone surviving 5+ years on hardcore Minecraft without totems would be actually pretty impressive.
Someone surviving 5 years on hardcore Minecraft with infinite totems really isn’t anything to brag about. You basically have infinite lives.
Hardcore content on YouTube would be so much more appealing to me if totems were banned.

Seems that way. Get a raid farm going early on and you’re basically unkillable unless you really mess up. And if you’re Messing up that badly then you definitely deserve to lose the world.
I was just watching some hardcore youtube videos “I collected every mob in hardcore minectaft” and the guy popped about 15 totems in one video. It just made me realise how pointless the whole hardcore game mode is. Its basically just regular Minecraft at this point aslong as you get a raid farm going.
