Losses often highlight things, and I’m indeed bummed about last game highlighting how our defense is a good bit worse than it really should be. I do think Jacques has done a good job overall, but if the D doesn’t improve by the end of the season, Marks has to strongly consider moving on. And oof, it would also point back at what an utter disaster it was firing Kenny and hiring Nash, but I digress.
Also, I assume we’ve all thoroughly learned that CamT has become absolutely indispensable on O, including late on the 24s and game clock. Not to mention Ben is arguably our best / most-versatile defender, and incredibly useful as a distributor, especially as an alt to Spencer’s much-different style.
So no excuses, but when you’re missing two of your most vital, unique pieces, there’re inevitably going to be disappointing losses like this. :S
