Why? Why do we have this dumb fucking tradition?
It fucking sucks and it’s not fun and it ruins the whole fucking holiday. I can’t be around friends or family because I am too fucking passed about the Lions embarrassing themselves. Why do we do this to ourselves?
The tradition is stupid and frankly I’m tired of the Detroit Lions ruining my Thanksgiving every fucking year.
Dumb take. Our team has fuck all for history (a few random championships in the 30s/50s that while recognized by the NFL, don’t count to fans of most teams) but this is one thing that we own.
Plus we play the early game every time so you still have the rest of the holiday.
