Today is Thanksgiving in the US, and I’m giving thanks for the Kings. After so many years of owner/coach/player drama, it’s really nice to have a team that has the right culture and mentality, and is darn fun to watch (even when they stress me out).
We (myself included) can often be overly critical of the team because we care and want them to be better. But today, what are you thankful for?
Same. I’m so thankful for everything this team has given me and my family over the years. Personal story time…. My father passed away earlier this year and the kings were basically the only thing we could talk about at the end of his life. I became a fan because of him and we shared countless hours enjoying everything about the team, the good and the bad. Thankfully he got to see them make the playoffs and he passed away just before game 7. This team and the community mean a lot to me. I’m a very thankful person.
