Lions fans are the definition of too high and too low. I don’t care about what we’ve lived through in the past.
After a solid win, we’re the best team in the league and nobody can do the things that we do. After a loss like this, suddenly there’s doubt across the entire team and I’m seeing Hendon Hooker mentioned multiple times.
Seriously?
We’re 16-5 in our last twenty-one games.
Read that again.
DC coached us out of another ugly win when we came out flat against a team who’s been cutting the eyes out of all our pictures since we embarrassed them at their house earlier this year.
3 games in 11 days will do that to you. An easy week of walkthroughs and mostly resting will do that to you. A young team once again flying high after a dramatic win will do that to you.
Goff isn’t “turning into LA Goff”. He had pressure in his face literally all day. We’re a rhythm style offense and when we fail to establish that rhythm it makes it tough to naturally get it going when you get behind on the scoreboard.
They haven’t lost back to back games in over a year.
They’ll get right. They’ll come out in NOLA with another chip on their shoulder and we’ll see clippings later that week of another hair raising pregame hype session from Penei.
RELAX YALL
Side Note: Of all the points of todays game that redirected the outcome, I think a HUGE turning point was St. Brown taking a bad angle up and to the sideline on the ball that Jared (beautifully) overthrew him on. He knew he fucked up coming off the field. If they connect on that and we score that second drive of the second half, I think things are a lot different. Coulda woulda shoulda, I know.
Everybody needs to just chill out and chalk this up as another one of the couple of losses we all knew would fall SOMEWHERE in the rest of the schedule.
Love this team and I still love the direction it’s headed. Even if AG’s seat should be toasty by now
Bro why is the excuse 3 games in 11 days? You notice that every team playing today had to do it right? I don’t see that stopping SF or Dallas
