Trying to boot a Linux Distro from USB for some dd imaging and other things, but I can’t find a Distro or Linux Kernel shipping with the drivers needed for WIFi, Bluetooth, and audio. That or I’m missing some low level setting I need to flip. Had to use Ethernet and a USB keyboard for now.

I’m guessing this might be related to Valve doing some custom work for the wireless and audio chips on the OLED.

I’ve never done it before, but would copying over the kernel from SteamOS work? Is there anything special I should do beyond just copying the files?

I’ve tried the latest Live ISOs for Kubuntu, Manjaro, KDE Neon, and a couple others. No luck yet. Admittedly I haven’t completely installed all of them, just booted the LIve ISO for most. Was just trying to find something that works. Could the wireless driver not get properly loaded during a Live session, but start working after properly installed?
