    Offense:

    Player Dead Money
    Zavala $0.6m
    Hurst $9.8m
    Sanders $10.5m
    Thomas $3.75m
    TMJ $380k
    Chark $3.1m

Zavala, TMJ, most likely, unless they see TMJ as still useful ‘depth’. Chark’s is 3.1m dead money anyway, he’s on a one year contract with void years.

Thomas I can see being restructured and extended maybe. He’s not bad as a depth tight end.

Hurst and Sanders? Those are going to hurt. Might be worth just eating that dead cap for a reset, but that’s over $20m in dead cap.

    Defense:

    • Burns gets tagged and traded, or tagged and extended. He’s not a top 5 edge rusher but he is a premium edge rusher, and we really shouldn’t throw him away.
    • Injuries are fluky, and Donte is a fine CB2. I hope we try to keep him, we need every CB we can get.
    • Shaq is $6.24m dead money, few void years on the end there after - half of that is dead money no matter what, so it’s really about $3m dead money to cut him early. I don’t see the value in cutting him.
    • CJ Henderson - we neeeed depth and he’s not great. As long as we pay him like a CB3/4 I don’t mind it.
    • Woods is $6m dead money. I don’t think we cut him.
    • I don’t think we cut the depth defensive pieces that are on rookie contracts, unless we get more promising rookies/cheap FAs. These guys shouldn’t be starting, we’re just really thin on depth, any team would be struggling with them.
