I’m not gonna get into the arguments for or against the change. Plenty of videos on YT and plenty of streamers have talked about it. I can’t add anything new to the discussion. But I just wonder what reasons Blizz gave justifying the change? Full disclosure, I preferred 6v6.
But they reworked problematic heroes like you mentioned - brig has no stun on CD, mei can’t freeze, cass can’t stun. Ana is still ana, but compared to the new supports she feels kinda ‘well balanced’? It’s like the fixed the issues people (tank players) complained about, but then decided to throw the baby out with the bathwater, and remove a tank? I don’t get it.
Edit: I think the big problem alot of OW1 players hated with tanks was double sheild, but they kind of fixed that too with many reworks? The only real shield tanks now are rein or sigma. Am I wrong? Idk if i’m nostalgic, but a rein/sig comp would be crushed by winston/dva/ball combo just destroying the backline, right?
