Do I even need to explain this? Doesn’t literally every single Rakan main, I mean heck not even Rakan mains, just every single Rakan player, know the unbelievably frustrating experience of dying because your adc or ally was JUST out of range? If they had walked just 50 units closer you could have lived. They could have been fine too, but in the heat of the moment they were simply too busy running away from the enemies, who happened to be on top of you, to think about your survival too. But a vague flashing circle around you indicating your E, could remind them, and show exactly how far they have to walk back to get you out.
I cannot possibly imagine it to be game breaking in any way either, it’s simply a QoL change that would save every Rakan player an incredible amount of stress and pain in exchange for essentially nothing. I am kinda baffled it isn’t in the game already, for a champion almost entirely reliant on his allies to disengage.
Please? Every Rakan main for generations will be thankful
Riot’s Justification would probably be avoiding visual Clutter. A lot of other People here also mention how other Champions that have Abilities with similar Functionalities also lack a Range Indicator for their Allies. IMO “Consistency” has always been a poor Argument, mainly because Riot themselves don’t give a Fuck about Consistency.
IMO I think it would be a nice QoL Change but not one that’s needed. Both Rakan and Lee Sin could have their E and W Range Indicators repsectively be visible to Allies but it’s not like the Lack of such Thing is some massive Downside.
This Year I spammed Rakan from Gold to Emerald. I can safely say more often than not an Assistance Ping does the Job to communicate to your Allies you need to dash out.
