Hey y’all, I got a legitimate question that has nothing to do with the current status of how the team is performing. Anyone wanna be tailgate friends?

I know at first glance that sounds degrading as hell. I come from a background where I grew up with no friends of mine being Jets fans besides my Dad. We had season tickets and because no people we knew shared the same football team liking, every tailgate was just me, him, and our grill. I will never be unhappy with that reality, but it is fun to have more people to spread that with.

Most of the time we’d be talking shit to each other about the Jets. Our relationship somewhat grew over our own dis pleasantries towards the own team we love.

All I want is just people to fuck around with before the game and have a good time. Talk shit, drink, eat. I’ve always made jokes to friends the best part about being a Jets fan is the tailgate prior to the game.

Definitely would be nice to have more people to spend it with.

To this day I will always love going to Jets games, just for the sole purpose I have the chance to tailgate. Sure the team sucks, but tailgating can never lose.
