i think he’s done fine for a first time head coach but at the end of the day, he’s yet ANOTHER defensive guy that talks the most aggro shit and then fields the most passive, inept offense in the league
it always ends up the same.
we always hire some random reject offensive coordinators, real bottom of the barrel types. pair them with our defensive-minded “hands off the offense” head coach and then trot out the league worst offense year after year
I don’t even remember the last time I’ve seen a Jets Head Coach talk to his Quarterback on the sideline. They have clearly offloaded the problem to someone else and want nothing to do with it even though they are the head coach of the team, not just the defense.
Saleh hasn’t done enough to stay if you ask me. I don’t care what Rogers thinks. But Joe Douglas should be fired first for putting Zach as the starter with no backup after rogers goes down on his first drive. Let the new GM decide is Saleh stays or goes.
Gase and Darnold. Darnold’s getting killed out there and went to Gase asking for help. Gase just blankly stared at him and was like: “You know what to do. Yeah, go out there and do it!”
