I know the team is young and the season just started. I know the Spurs have no true starting PG. And I know Pop is a great coach. And I know VW is only 19. But LORD have mercy - the Spurs chuck up contested 3 after contested 3 with a 7’4” dude WIDE OPEN in the paint game after game. It’s absolutely embarrassing to logic. There’s rebuilding with freedom of player development and there is rebuilding with some sort of acknowledgment that you have a guy on your team that you should focus around.
The Sochan Experiment was an unmitigated disaster tonight. I get wanting to develop Sochan’s passing but the dude was actively harming his team’s ability to get good looks.
