Last night, the Raptors displayed an incredible level of speed and agility as they moved up and down the court in transition.
Two games into the season, it’s becoming evident that NBA officials may not possess the same endurance and stamina as the athletes who’ve tirelessly trained throughout the summer.
In the high-paced world of professional basketball, the risk of offensive charges is ever-present, and the referees, just like the players, have to sprint up and down the court.
It’s possible that the referees, too, experienced fatigue, and their frequent use of whistles might be a way to help control the tempo of the game, giving everyone a moment to catch their breath amidst the fast-paced action on the hardwood.
It’s just that the league sends their shittiest refs to our games. I’m pretty sure there was some stats someone posted last year that backs that up.
Like they do not care about our team.
