Admit it already. Russell Westbrook isn’t a person who wants to play to win - he plays horribly on rotations that don’t have PG in them, he misses layups even when he has a full burst of speed, hasn’t improved his jump-shot since entering the league and has consistently been dismissive of it although it’s for the betterment of his game.

He opted to be put on the bench but this isn’t some sob sorry for him to be put back out there. He’s rushing too much with his limited minutes and failing to do so in the process. I can’t fathom his fans trying to justify his play by saying he doesn’t have enough minutes.

That said, I’d be remiss to not echo the “Fire Ty Lue” sentiment.

    The problem is that this issue is something that was created through the trade, that’s subsequently been a large reason why the clippers have been dropping games. Instead of focusing your attention on how badly the front office screwed over our continuity, you want to focus on making Russ seem like a bad player when he was a net positive to start the year in the role that he should be playing.
