Is not a new OS, and im finding very hard to grasp any stuff in Nix, things about it are very sparse and very fragmented.
Any idiot way to NIX recommendation are very appreciated

    By the way, NixOS is only a year younger than Gentoo. I don’t know why everyone repeats like parrots the phrase about “NixOS documentation being bad”. If you have tried to read and use Gentoo or Slackware documentation, you will not find NixOS documentation very bad.

        Judging by the number of stupid questions in the Arch Linux sub and forums, no one reads the Arch Wiki.

        I remember when I needed to customize my keyboard layout switching to four different languages in qtile. All the Arch Wiki recipes turned out to be bullsh*t.

          Oh god… yeah, the forums are full of landmines. And, yeah, the wiki too sometimes, though some of the common configs are pretty informative. I’ve definitely used the wiki as a reference for configuring NixOS before as well.

            There is a collection of configurations on the NixOS website. Each config has documentation. You can read them ad infinitum.
