I despise the notion that every time his team lost and he was averaging a triple-double it was his fault. There’s a massive lack of context when getting into these discussions.
It’s not necessarily his fault, it’s more just to point out that those stats don’t really mean much when it comes to winning games or going far in the playoffs. Russ cannot be the number 1 or 2 option on a team that has hopes of winning a championship, he just isn’t that guy so there’s no point wondering about what his stats could be if that were the case
