Anybody use the Tomtoc Armor Case for the steam deck? I have one for a Switch Pro Controller and like it a lot since I bring my controller a bunch of different places. I like it better than the Xbox Elite style case that has a zipper and is just like a carry case. I like the way the shell is form fitting and hard. Just throw it in a bag and know my sticks aren’t being pressed or that the controller didn’t turn on from button inputs.
I saw recently that they made one for the steam deck and wanted to see if I could find a review or something. It’s on sale right now for Black Friday and thought it would be a good idea. Nobody online is talking about it whatsoever. Did it just come out or is there some kind of glaring issue causing people to stay away from it? I find it really odd for a Tomtoc product to not have a single person online talking about it. They sponsor all sorts of gaming videos and content creators are always recommending the soft cases and bags. It seems weird that there is zero internet coverage of the hard shell case. Especially since it would probably be an amazing addition to one of the pouch cases Tomtoc sells. Deck inside armor, then throw that in the pouch. It’s safe from crushing, unwanted inputs, and still gets to be in a bag with the needed accessories.
TL;DR : Does anyone use or have any input on the Tomtoc armor case?
I travel a lot and use their “FancyCase”, it has protected my Deck very well so far. The Armor case is new, I don’t remember seeing that one before.
