Lastly I bought AKG K702 and also i have Audio Technica M50X BT. I’ve read a lot of reviews about akg saying they are headphones with little bass (what I want), pristine sound full of space. Based on these reviews, I’m afraid there’s something wrong with my akg, as they have more bass than the previously mentioned AT (especially more low bass), they have a lot of space of course, the mids and highs are less than at, they are a little muddy. Every hit on the drums has a big impact (more than an AT). The impression is similar to that of a movie trailer, where the sound is spatially bassy. This is a recent purchase, so it is possible that they still need to warm up (in AT warming up had a big effect), but I am afraid I got a defective unit. It is possible that this impression is somehow caused by the space, but I fear that something is wrong with the driver or the cable connection. Maybe someone knows something about this phenomenon, has some experience. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

I mainly listen to (symphonic, power) metal music. After long listening, it is strange that they sound very similar to these ATs in terms of sound. The main difference is that they have more noticeable low bass, nicer female vocals and play the high registers of instruments better. Additionally, they are less flat in terms of space and the separation of individual instruments is better. But for some reason the K702s have more bass than the ATs which are known for their basses. The K702s were supposed to have almost imperceptible bass (even barren sound due to the lack of bass), so I wonder if something strange is happening with them. Even YouTube ads sound like a movie trailer using the K702.
