I want to get the LCD 512 GB Steam Deck, but I have some worries about it
- can I put in a 256 GB micro GB card or SD card into it and not worry about storage anymore? Will the loading times drastically increase because the game is on an SD card?
- Can I stream my pc games onto the Steam Deck? There are some games I play that aren’t available on steam, or on the deck in general, but I still want to continue playing them.
- Will I be limited to only steam games, or can I play other games as well? If so, can you list some places I can get games on the deck?
- Is there any better alternative to the steam deck that is under $500 that i should buy instead?
Thanks for sharing the link. It helps a lot with that explanation.
About the streaming, I’ve seen some sites explaining how to do it within the desktop steam client on the steam deck. Everywhere i looked it says I need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi as the PC to stream. I’m guessing the answer to this question is a no, but would it be possible to stream from a different network? The only reason is because my laptop has some exclusive games and also some features that i will be missing out on if i only use my Steam deck. And it would be a lot more convenient if i could play my PC games from a different location, as long as my laptop is connected to my router (if that would help on the steam deck side).
