A receiver interception is normally classified as an interception caused in part, by a ball tipped by the receiver causing it to end up in defenders hands.

Has anyone noticed how much better our receivers have been about “successfully failing” to catch a pass? Last year a fair number of Daks INTs were off the hands of receivers. This season you can see on a lot of the drops and mental errors from our receivers that they are attempting to catch such that if they fail, the ball just falls right in to the turf instead of popped up in the air

Dak is currently 23:6 for TD:INT. Him and McCarthy have done a good job of limiting INTs for him in the way of playcalling and dak making better throwing decisions and angles… but the receivers definitely need some recognition too in avoiding becoming a problem themselves
