There’s less action despite more points which sounds paradoxical. Now teams run between the 3pt line and don’t work the shot clock to under 10 seconds too often. Back in the good ole days teams passed the ball around and understood the shot clock was meant to be utilized to find the best open shot, not just take the first shot that a player thinks is open
