This is by no means a shot at OC Joe Lombardi, but whenever I watch the games, it seems like Payton is calling the plays and QB coach Davis Webb is always in Russ’s ear coaching him up. It seems like Webb, who looks like a super energetic guy, may be pumping Russ up or helping distil certain concepts to help the offence out. I’ve just never seen Lombardi shown on any of the broadcasts yet and that’s weird to me considering how important the title “Offensive Coordinator” is in the NFL. Anyone have any ideas?
