Philly got Byard for peanuts. I’m not sure the Lions can complete with Philly at this point. Getting one star player (Crosby or Surtain) is not enough! We have 2 stars players on defense (Hutchinson & Sutton), and 1 rising star (Branch). Philly has 7 to 8 big name players on their defense. Same with the 49ers.

If it was not for Ben Johnson potentially leaving and Goff’s new contract, I say we make minimal to no change at the deadline and ride it out. The Lions are going to be good for a very long time if we don’t make sudden impulse moves. Brad Holmes has a tough decision to make. CJGJ and Mosley were supposed to be extra stars for us, on top off getting 1 more star player at the trade deadline.

Now, we are kind of in purgatory. Wish Eagles and 49ers weren’t good.
