We lose games on rebounds way too often for a team that still starts 2 bigs, and I always wonder why. I went on the NBA site player stats and filtered it down to just starting guards per 100 possessions to adjust for pace, and neither Mitchell or Garland were even in the top 50. They weren’t even top 50 for JUST offensive or JUST defensive rebounds either. I then went a step further and made it JUST starting guards in the East, both are still outside the top 50. What the fuck do we do?

I’m assuming you only used last year’s stats? That’s the main criticism of why you don’t want to start two undersized guards. It wouldn’t matter as much if our bigs were averaging something like 26 rpg combined, but they’re not even averaging 20, which is kind of ridiculous. Mitchell did get 8 boards last night though.
