I have an idea for a product that is essentially a hybrid of two products that already exist in the market. After talking with different people, it’s become obvious to me that there is at least some interest in my idea.

However, I know that surveys don’t necessarily translate into sales when there isn’t an actual product to test. My issue is that I don’t know where to start in manufacturing the prototype, let alone the end product. It would be a handheld device and is electrical and powered through a rechargeable lithium ion battery.

Does anybody have any pointers on where to look to start at least producing a prototype? I’m based in WA, USA if that helps. Thank you!
